Breaking ground in online adaptive radiotherapy (OART)
RaySearch is proud to announce that online adaptive has been unleashed by software and is now part of clinical practice – built on existing linac platforms. A recent milestone is the first patients treated using an online adaptive workflow with RayStation, RayCare, and a Varian TrueBeam** at Iridium Network in Belgium. Read the press release. OART means adapting the treatment plan to the patient’s anatomy while the patient is on the treatment couch. This is a major topic in the industry and RaySearch’s software‑driven approach speeds up the process and puts clinics in control. RayStation enables fast, predictable adaptive replanning, while RayCare connects imaging, planning, adaptation, and treatment into a single, vendor‑neutral workflow platform that is built for automation.

In addition to online adaptive workflows, RaySearch will have a strong and multifaceted presence throughout ESTRO 2026. The company will host live demonstrations of its state-of-the-art products and solutions, facilitate expert discussions at the dedicated in-booth space (RayHub), and a lunch symposium led by its founder and CEO, Johan Löf, along with clinical customers.
