RaySearch to showcase groundbreaking innovations at ESTRO 2026

RaySearch Laboratories AB (publ) announces its participation at ESTRO in the company’s hometown of Stockholm, Sweden (May 16-18) where groundbreaking innovations will be on exhibition. Attendees will be able to book demonstrations of the treatment planning system RayStation®*, the oncology information system RayCare®*, and the cloud-based oncology analytics system RayIntelligence® during the congress.

Breaking ground in online adaptive radiotherapy (OART)
RaySearch is proud to announce that online adaptive has been unleashed by software and is now part of clinical practice – built on existing linac platforms. A recent milestone is the first patients treated using an online adaptive workflow with RayStation, RayCare, and a Varian TrueBeam** at Iridium Network in Belgium. Read the press release. Iridium will also present this achievement at RaySearch’s lunch symposium “Online adaptive for the masses” on Sunday, May 17.

OART means adapting the treatment plan to the patient’s anatomy while the patient is on the treatment couch. This is a major topic in the industry and RaySearch’s software‑driven approach speeds up the process and puts clinics in control. RayStation enables fast, predictable adaptive replanning, while RayCare connects imaging, planning, adaptation, and treatment into a single, vendor‑neutral workflow platform that is built for automation.

Other highlights
In addition to online adaptive workflows, RaySearch will have a strong and multifaceted presence throughout ESTRO 2026. The company will host live demonstrations of its state-of-the-art products and solutions, facilitate expert discussions at the dedicated in-booth space (RayHub), and a lunch symposium led by its founder and CEO, Johan Löf, along with clinical customers. RaySearch will also contribute with scientific presentations and continue its engagement in UniteRT (www.unitert.org), reinforcing its commitment to open, vendor‑agnostic ecosystems that support collaboration, choice, and innovation in radiotherapy.

Demonstrations are booked at the onsite booth #C14:45 or on the RaySearch website.

“I have been engaged in adaptive radiation therapy since defending my doctoral thesis on the subject,” says Johan Löf, founder and CEO of RaySearch. “Online adaptive does not require specialized treatment machines; it is entirely a matter of advanced software. Clinics now have the opportunity to implement online adaptive without having to replace their linear accelerator.”
